Fourth of July

I can't believe that I'm almost caught up with this blog!! Here are some pictures from our Fourth of July. We had a relaxing holiday, and we grilled outside with some of our neighbors while the kiddos played. I really do love the feeling of community now that we're back on a base.

Elliette helped Eric wash the car.

The kids had fun swimming around in the pool.

Rachael with Aubrey and baby Coby!

My Chicken ka Bobs. They turned out really good!

Cadence's favorite game: Peek A Boo!

A few of the kiddos: Elliette, Sophia (next door neighbor), Cadence, and Aubrey

Sweet sisters!

I know that July 4th was a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not one to start any kind of political debate about our freedoms and/or our government. However, it wouldn't be a proper Independence Day post if I didn't include how proud we are of Eric for serving our country! I think about our Fourth of July last year, and I just remember how much we missed Eric. At the same time, we were so proud of him and his accomplishments! I am thankful that the girls have a great Daddy who works hard to keep us all safe. I also am thankful for the sacrifices of many of our friends who celebrated Independence Day far away from their Daddies. We appreciate all of you!
